This iconic multi-award winning voyage of discovery is the only one north of Port Augusta past the stunning red cliffs of Redbanks, up to the top of the gulf, over flats dry at low tide, into the salt works conservation zone among an unparalleled setting of mangroves and outback red sand dunes with the Flinders Ranges as your back drop.

For optimum experience this cruise departs in the morning giving:

To complement the scenery you will enjoy an informative commentary from a 4^th generation local with the experience of over 2000 cruises in the area, giving a fascinating insight into the land, its people, its past, present and future. You will marvel how over 1000 million years the landscape has evolved and be astonished how a tide flowing for just 6 hours will transfer 10 billion litres of water out of the top of the gulf making it inaccessible and unrecognisable at other times.

Our custom built vessel ‘DekyZayne’ allows close up views and access into secluded areas of the Northern Waters (also known as the DekyZayne Waters).

As the tour gets back mid morning it allows those travelling to get back on the road or enjoy the regions’ other attractions, as increasing numbers of visitors are doing.  

We have gone to extereme lenghts to provide an authentic Eco cruise with no peer. This 2hr cruise is a tour that engages all your senses you can:

As a culinary insight to the cruise area a tasting of local foods from the very area you cruise on is provided.Tea, Coffee & Water is also available on board.

Cost is $50/person & $30/U16. A $5/person discount applies if you are staying at a caravan park or if booked through the Wadlata Outback Centre.
